Movement dynamics in their most fascinating form.
Damsey was the only stallion to receive a premium at the Hanoverian licensing under saddle. At his 30-day performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 2005, he received the highest score (9.25) of all 21 participants for rideability. In his very first show season in 2006, Damsey won an entire series of tests for young riding and dressage horses under Inga von Helldorff. He left the Danish licensing in Herning as the undisputed Champion Stallion in the group of four year old dressage stallions.

Damsey
His sire, Dressage Royal, comes from the famous Oldenburg performance line of Fasse III. Immediately following his successful tests for young riding and dressage horses, he placed at the Bundeschampionat in the class for five year old dressage horses in 2003. A son from his very first crop, Damsey, was licensed and in the following year he was the sire of a premium stallion named Doringcourt/Leonie Bramall/CAN. The dam, Ria Grande, also produced Damsey's half-sister called Daianira vd Helle (by Dream of Glory), who placed in 2004 as well as 2005 under Vicky Smits/BEL in the WC final in the class for young dressage horses.

Damsey
The dam's sire, Ritual, supplied top horses for all disciplines in riding. The amount of prize money won in 2006 by his off-spring such as the WC jumper, Resonanz/Vladimir Beletskiy/RUS as well as Rainy Day/Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst, Ramadan Z/Eduardo Netto de Almeida/POR and Rubia/Axel Milkau surpassed the 390,000 Euro mark. Ritual sired 14 licensed sons, including Rudelsburg, the sire of the 2005 German Champion in show jumping, Rulanda/Imke Harms. Damsey's granddam, St.Pr.St. Grandizza, is also the dam of an S-level driving horse named Rosewood (by Ritual) and two State Premium mares, Rituals Praline (by Ritual) and Dea (by De Niro). A half-sister of the granddam called Tiffany (by Tannenberg) was a successful M-level dressage horse.
