Dimaggio, the undisputed World Champion of 5-year old dressage horses and meanwhile a winner up to Inter I, made a debut at the Oldenburg licensing site after he returned from Great Britain that could not have been more perfect. All three of the young stallions from his first crop in Germany that were presented and which had all been sold through the Elite Auction (also for the highest prices), were licensed. Among these was Disaronno who was presented by Gestüt Vorwerk. Along with Dinamic who was licensed in 2005, Dimaggio has meanwhile sired four licensed sons.
Dimaggio
His son Di Baggio placed in the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships after having won the Meppen Dressage Festival Championships. At the Hanoverian Verband shows, a number of Dimaggio's daughters received I-a prizes. Many of the Dimaggio foals brought top prices at the auctions in Verden und Vechta and in 2006 he was the sire of the Reserve Champion Filly at the German Foal Championships in Lienen. His breeding period in Great Britain produced the 2003 British Warmblood Champion and the British Sporthorse Champion.
His sire Don Primero was a 1990 Bundeschampion and then highly successful in Grand Prix dressage under Karin Rehbein. He sired two Bundeschampions in 2003, Dynamico and Devils bride. His daughter Cherie took the title at the World Championships in the class for 6-year old dressage horses as well as in the Nürnberg Burg-Pokal. The dam Winnipeg is the dam of Werther’s Echte (by Werther), a mare successful up to advanced (S) level dressage. The dam's sire World Cup I won his performance test, was DLG Reserve Champion Stallion twice, the 1997 "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year" and sired numerous dressage horses.
