In his very first show season, Laureano won several novice level tests for young dressage horses under Tanja Lammers. He successfully passed his 30-day test in 2006 in Neustadt/Dosse with a dressage-heavy final score of 8.11 and an 8.63 for rideability. In 2005 Laureano left the final ring for dressage stallions with a premium at the Hanoverian licensing in Verden. Numerous foals from Laureano's first crop were awarded premiums and he was the sire of the champion foal in Achim. At the Oldenburg Hengst-Tage 2007 in Vechta he received the I-b main premium for stallions with emphasis on dressage.

His Thoroughbred sire, Lauries Crusador, has become one of the trademark stallions in modern day dressage breeding with 42 licensed sons, including the Champion Stallions Londonderry and Lauda, more than 110 State Premium daughters and show horses such as Lesotho/Ellen Schulten-Baumer, Le Bo/Carola Koppelmann and Le Primeur/Marie-Line Wettstein/SUI. In 2006 he was elected "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year", the first Thoroughbred to ever receive this award. His dam St.Pr.St. Debby, who received the I-d prize at the Louis-Wiegels Show, is the dam of two advanced (S) level dressage horses, Walkie-Talkie (by Weltruhm) and Romeo (by Rubinstein). The dam's sire Donnerhall stands for the symbiosis of breeding and sport at a high level. This dark chestnut stallion became World Champion in dressage twice and left more than 100 licensed sons and 200 State Premium mares behind. His progeny in sport had won more than 1.6 million Euros by 2007. Granddam Brandy is the dam of Don Bolero (by Donnerhall), a successful medium (M/A) level dressage horse. The dam line is also known for the sires Eiger I (1999 "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year"), II and III as well as the advanced (S) level dressage horses Leon Cavallo (by Lemon Park) and Loredo (by Lauries Crusador xx).
