In this past season, Rubinero won a series of dressage tests under Tanja Lammers up to St. George and Inter I and is presently being trained for Grand Prix.
At his stallion performance test in 2003 in Neustadt/Dosse, Rubinero took the 2nd Reserve Champion title with a total index of 133.12 which included a score of 10.0 for rideability. As a 5-year old he won tests for young dressage horses in novice (A) and elementary (L) level with high scores of 9.0, took bronze in Rastede at the State Championships and participated in the Bundeschampionat. In 2005 he again qualified for Warendorf and won dressage tests up to medium (M) level. Places in advanced (S) level followed at the age of seven.
In 2007, a black son from Rubinero's first crop was licensed in Redefin. Another son was admitted to the licensing in Oldenburg. With his many premium foals, Rubinero was also represented at the larger auctions as well as the German Foal Championships in Lienen.

Rubinero
Rubinero looks exactly like his sire, Rubinstein, who not only wrote his own dressage horse story in breeding history but is currently as up to date as ever with the Piaff-Förderpreis winner Renoir-Unicef/Matthias Alexander Rath, the team European Champion and German Champion in dressage for junior riders, Rubioso N/Victoria Michalke, the team European Champion of young dressage riders Reine B/Lotje Schoots/NED and the World Champion of dressage riders with a handicap, Ocean Diamond/Simon Laurens/GBR. His dam Faola did an excellent job at her broodmare performance test where she received a 10.0 in free jumping. In 2005 her second son was licensed (by His Highness). The dam's sire Ex Libris, who was trained up to Grand Prix, is also the sire of Escapado/Carl Hester/GBR who took sixth place in dressage at the European Championships. In the further generations of his pedigree you fine Furioso II, Inschallah AA and the Thoroughbred stallion More Magic, all former breeding heroes at Gestüt Vorwerk.
According to an examination report, Rubinero does not have a red factor. |
