Significant styling, opulent movements, rideability par excellence and a pedigree chocked with first class performance bloodlines make Sergio Rossi an exceedingly desirable sire.

Sergio Rossi
His sire Sir Donnerhall started his career as the spectator's darling and 2nd Reserve Champion of the Oldenburg licensing. He then became State Champion, Vice World Champion of 5-year old dressage horses and Bundeschampion. He took his performance test in 2005 in Adelheidsdorf, finishing with record scores, advancing to become the main premium winner of stallions with emphasis on dressage. Sir Donnerhall's outstanding foals dominated the foal shows and were sold for the highest prices at the auctions in Verden, Vechta and Münster-Handorf. Out of his very first stallion crop, from which Sergio Rossi also originates, eight stallions were licensed.
The dam, Verb.Pr. St. Rose Noire, is a full sister of Gestüt Vorwerk's highly influential Rubinstein and his full brother Rubinstein II. The granddam Dodona produced the three-time Olympic Game winner Ahlerich (by the Thoroughbred stallion Angelo)/Dr. Reiner Klimke and his full sister Adone, who was the dam of the licensed stallions Royal Angelo I and II (both by Rosenkavalier) and the four-time Olympic game winner Rembrandt/Nicole Uphoff. This line that is maintained by Herbert De Baey in Lemgo is also known for the licensed stallions Kaiser Franz, Darlington and Romancier as well as the Olympic Game dressage horse, Amon.
According to an examination report, Sergio Rossi does not have a red factor. |
