His sire Conteur was highly placed on numerous occasions, a Bundeschampionate finalist and is currently successful at FEI level. His dam State Premium Mare Pia is a full sister to the grand dam of Rotspon, a Celle State Stud stallion and Performance Test winner. Dam sire Pik Bube I was a multiple winner at the advanced dressage level under Herbert Rehbein and is currently a paragon for versatile heritability for Hanoverian breeding: both in dressage and show jumping, Pik Bube I offspring are internationally successful. Wendekreis, who is known to produce jumpers with the highest potential and who carries on the Ferdinand foundation bloodline, completes Con Amore’s wonderful pedigree
Con Amore descends from the Hanoverian Mare Family 447/Fleers. Out of this highly esteemed line of Donnerfriede (by Dominus x Flügelmann I) the show jumper producing Saluto (Celle State stallion) descended, his full brother Sarasto (Pb, Hanoverian), Weinbrand (Pb, Denmark) who was an internationally winning dressage horse under Nadine Capellmann and produced Don Duriello (Pb Han.), Marquis (Pb. Belgium) and Morning Star (Celle state stallion).
